August 2020 will mark the 75th anniversary of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a resolution calling on the Islamic Republic of Iran fully to cooperate in implementing the Non-Proliferation Treaty Safeguards Agreement and Additional Protocol, including the denial of access to two locations, and the continued lack of clarification regarding undeclared nuclear material and nuclear activities. This resolution and previous reports do not identify these locations. What is Iran hiding? This comes after a long list of Key events.

In February 2020, Iran's total stockpile of low-enriched uranium amounted to 1,021kg, compared with 372kg noted in the IAEA report on November 3, 2019 – and as opposed to the 202.8 kg under the July 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
In violation of the Non–Proliferation Treaty, Iran wants to become nuclear. It has developed medium and long-range ballistic missiles already capable of reaching Israel and Europe.
Iran does not recognize Israel and continually threatens "death" to both, Israel and America. Iran threatens persistently to destroy Israel; some downplay this threat. In violation of article 2 (4) of the UN Charter, in its international relations with the United States, Iran uses threats, and (from Lebanon, Gaza and Syria) threats and force against the territorial integrity and political independence of Israel.
The United Nations seems unwilling or incapable of putting an end to these threats and fails to maintain peace. The world is on a collision course with Iran.
The Iranian mullahs and government, as well as the Palestinian leaders, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, Saudi Arabia's Wahhabis, Hezbollah, Al-Qaeda, the Islamic State share the same jihadist ideology, encapsulated in one sentence, which happens to be the motto of the Muslim Brotherhood: "Allah is our goal, the prophet is our ideal, the Qur'an is our constitution, jihad is our way, and death for the sake of Allah is our aspiration".
"Jihad" is mentioned in the Iranian Constitution. The goal of the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps is "to fulfill Jihad in God's way", that is, extending the sovereignty of God's law [Islam] throughout the world.
Efforts to stop the actions of Iran and Hezbollah have failed. No more diplomatic or economic alternatives exist.
The United States and Israel should exercise their inherent and natural right of self-defense as understood in customary international law, and as provided in Article 51 of the UN Charter in order to stop the threat of nuclear obliteration. Article 51 should be interpreted to mean that a state might use military force when it "regards itself as intolerably threatened by the activities of another."
All usual international procedures and avenues have proved futile and the situation has reached a critical point. If and when Iran has a nuclear weapon, it will be easy to put a nuclear warhead on a ship (or an airplane) to New York City; or on a Khorramshahr missile (an Iranian version of North Korea's Musudan Missile) and attack Berlin, Brussels, Paris and Rome, in addition to Israel. Iran already has several cruise missiles bought from Ukraine in 2001 that can carry nuclear weapons. Iran has had time to make copies and to test them. It has successfully launched a satellite with a missile and could put nuclear bombs on its satellites.
If armed with one nuclear weapon [a single bomb], a satellite in orbit around the earth at an altitude of 425 kilometers could produce an electro magnetic pulse (EMP) field that would cover the entire United States and most of North America. The effect of EMP is an existential threat to America and it will destroy the power grids, telecommunications and power infrastructures (satellites, computers, electronic circuits, telephone, water, air, sanitation, food supply, airplanes, cars, some nuclear plants, contact with the world, access to vital emergency services such as hospitals and firefighters).
President Trump is evidently aware of this danger. On March 29, 2019, a presidential executive order allowed the secretary of defense to defend the nation from adversarial EMPs and asked the director of national intelligence to coordinate the collection, analysis of intelligence-based assessments on adversaries' capabilities to conduct an attack utilizing an EMP.
For Israel, the deal constitutes a threat for the short and middle term. One single nuclear bomb can destroy Israel by inflicting a devastating blow on its infrastructure and killing three quarters of its population, including most of the Sunni Arabs along with the Jews. Iranian ex-President Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani knew that "the use of even one nuclear bomb on Israel would destroy everything".
The geopolitical struggle taking place in the Middle East is not a battle for supremacy; it is a battle for survival.
As repeatedly stated by Prof. Moshe Sharon: "The Iranians…truly believe that the Shiite messiah, the Twelfth Imam (also known as the Mahdi), is here, and that he will reveal himself… What moves the Iranian government and leadership today is first and foremost the wish to bring about the Twelfth Imam. … How will they bring him? Through an apocalypse. He needs a war. He cannot come into this world without an Armageddon. The earlier we understand this, the better. (They) want nuclear weapons for this.
In an address at the sixth annual Jerusalem Conference, Prof. Bernard Lewis said: "In the Muslim perception, [the conflict] is basically a religious conflict."
The fight is not only against the Jews and the non-Muslim world ("infidels"). It is also against the Sunni Arabs. The Iranian mullahs mention that according to the 6th Imam Jaafar as-Sadiq, a time will come when Persians will fight Arabs to resurrect "true" Islam. They mention one of Mohammed's prophecies.
Saudi Arabia and the Sunni Gulf states are indeed competing in the construction of higher skyscrapers.
Iran with a population of around 80 million is an autocratic internal empire, where Persians rule over Arabs, Azeris, Gilakis, Mazandaranis, Turkmen, Kurds, Ballochs, Qashqai Turks, Bakhtiaris and Pashtuns. In case of war, these people will become victims, as well as the Lebanese who have Hezbollah missiles under, in or near their houses and public buildings. They would do well to wake up before it is too late, and realize that fanatical Persians are prepared to fight Israel to the last Sunni Arab. They can leave the country or become "collateral" victims.
The Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) doctrine , was said to have prevented the use of nuclear weapons during the Cold War, could prevent Iran's leaders from using a nuclear bomb against Israel, the US and some European states.
No one should bet on this. At the same annual Jerusalem Conference on February 17, 2009, the late Professor Lewis suggested "Mutual Assured Destruction was the main deterrent preventing the use of nuclear weapons by the Soviets. For [then-Iranian President Mahmoud] Ahmadinejad and his group, with their apocalyptic mindset, mutual assured destruction is not a deterrent but an inducement".
The US, French, British and Israel's nuclear arsenal will not constitute a deterrent. A second nuclear strike possibility will not dissuade them. A nuclear war appears to be seen by the mullahs as inevitable and necessary.
The tragic experience of World War II has shown us the horrendous cost of a policy of peace at almost any price. All hesitation will lead to catastrophy.
It is crucial for America and the free world to stop the Iranian nuclear bomb before it is too late, to prevent an apocalypse. It is a question of survival.
