This election has torn the nationalist camp apart, and everyone involved has played a part. Should we get into who got us in this mess in the first place, we'll end up voting in a fifth election in a few months' time. At the end of the day, it's one nationalist camp; When it breaks into pieces, everyone suffers.

Enough. We promised voters reconciliation. Let's start by rehabilitating relationships within the nationalist camp. Let's show Israelis that we can look beyond our emotions, personal interests, and bitterness. Only then will we be able to approach our political allies and rivals with hands clean. Reconciliation among members of the nationalist camp will provide direction and inspiration to other members of a political system torn and scarred from two years of chaos and paralysis.
The clear outcome of the election cannot be avoided. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu won. His Likud party is the largest party in the Knesset and the largest on the Right. That means it is his responsibility to call on New Hope leader Gideon Sa'ar to come home.
The embarrassing and unnecessary ritual of searching for defectors can and should be avoided. It's beneath us. The Likud should call New Hope members Sa'ar, Zeev Elkin, Yifat Shasha-Biton, Sharren Haskel, and even Yoaz Hendel to come home and welcome them all with open arms. New Hope members should say that though they tried, they will not thwart the formation of a right-wing government or allow the establishment of a left-wing government, in particular, one that includes Labor and Meretz and has the support of the Joint Arab List. We'll have much more influence from the inside; We can promote the objectives we said we were committed to advancing from within a cohesive coalition.
If the exit polls are a genuine reflection of the results, the necessary conclusion from the number of Knesset seats garnered must be that Sa'ar should come home, and Netanyahu needs to leave the door wide open for him to do. The time for reconciliation in the nationalist camp is now.
