It's time for a regional alliance

Israel and Saudi Arabia have little in common, other than the broadest goal possible: surviving the regional threat posed by Iran.

It's time to say things clearly to King Salman of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman: Israel and Saudi Arabia don't have much in common when it comes to religion, culture, or society. Beyond that, for many years there has been hostility between the two countries. Nevertheless, in recent years, we have seen the rise of a common enemy that is at the gates of both countries. The ayatollahs in Tehran dream of wiping out the Saudi royal family. Your Majesty and Your Highness, you both know very well that every curse and threat from Iran against Israel and the Jews who live there are really aimed a thousand-fold at you and your people. Your kingdom, and especially the holy cities Mecca and Medina, represent a religious victory for the ayatollahs. Incidentally, they want to take your kingdom's oil resources and establish an empire that stretches across the Middle East.

When it comes to Israel, the Iranians have made it a goal to wipe us off the map, pure and simple. To eradicate the Jewish state. We understand very well the evil words uttered by religious leaders in Iran. Saudi Arabia and Israel must form a fortified wall against Iran's destructive spread and terrorism. The time for secret diplomacy or agreements sponsored by western powers that anchor Iran's right to weapons that tip the balance of power is over. These countries won't pay the price for their mistake – we will! We must not forget former US President Barack Obama's "loyalty" to Hosni Mubarak, which led to his fall and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

It's time to wield an iron fist against Iran and terrorism by those who are helping it. It's only a matter of time before we fight a direct war against Iran. They will not willingly give up their imperialist spread. At this stage, the Iranians and their collaborators are trying to surround Saudi Arabia with enemies, which they will fund and assist in bringing down the Saudi regime. Iran has linked itself to mass murder in Syria, which sprays gas on its own citizens. Iran helps the Houthis in Yemen, who are shooting missiles at Saudi cities. In Lebanon, warmonger Hassan Nasrallah, who continues to ruin everything he touches, is again receiving backing and funding from Iran.

Time has come for an official, publicly declared peace between Israel and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Both countries have the broadest common denominator: survival. It is time for a regional alliance in which the Saudis could even invest in the Israeli defense industry and receive its help in developing tools to defend Riyadh and Saudi Arabia's oil fields from attacks by Iran and its partners. Cooperation with Saudi Arabia could expedite tools that are under development in Israel and make them operational. It is time to establish join diplomatic and defense activity.

Saudi Arabia and Israel comprise the base for a regional alliance that would stop the winds of war and hatred and build a wall of steel against them. The alliance between us should be made open and turned into joint power, publicly announced, that will deter the angels of destruction and terrorism and do battle against them. Israel, under the leadership of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is a safe base and has the greatest possible interest in forming a moderate regional alliance that aspires to stability, prosperity, and peace.
