Now that US Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have revealed the purpose of their visits to "Palestine," there is nothing left to do but thank them for helping expose the hypocrisy of the progressive and "liberal" Left.
The same people who climbed onto barricades to sabotage the visits of Israel's true friends – US President Donald Trump, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, whom they accused of anti-Semitism; acted to sabotage Jerusalem's ties with Poland's conservative government, and slander every patriotic right-wing and pro-Israel party as belonging to the radical Right, are now fighting for the "right" of two anti-Israel, if not anti-Semitic, congresswoman to enter Israel, a country whose right to exist they do not recognize.

These same people who accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of harming US-Israel ties when he dared to challenge a Democratic president with a destructive agenda for Israel and the entire Middle East now accuse him of being the slave of a Republican US president who threw the premier a life preserver to rescue him from the maelstrom concocted by two provocateurs on the extreme Left. The progressive, "liberal," and post-Zionist Left in Israel and among US Jewry has been exposed: It is collaborating with Israel's stated enemies without any moral inhibition.
As is its habit, the Israeli media, dominated largely by the progressive Left, has created an echo chamber for US Democrats' protests against the Israeli Right. These are the same media outlets that enlisted to promote former US President Barack Obama's destructive peace plans and 2015 Iran nuclear deal and presented every signal pro-Israel move by Trump as dangerous. Those fomenting artificial panic from every utterance of criticism are in fact the Israeli media and Israeli Left.
There is no reason why Israel's sovereign right to prevent the entry of officials who do not support its right to exist should damage Israel's ties with the Democratic Party. Israel is a sovereign state with its own legitimate interests that it must protect. Until recently, the Democratic Party understood that, but the party's recent support for these two radical representatives is a testament to some in the party, and not Israel, having lost their way. Every US official that supports the "right" of this anti-Semitic duo to visit "Palestine" in the name of some "freedom" is harming ties between the Democrats and Israel.
Israel has no problem with criticism or open dialogue, but blatant anti-Israel positions and calls in support of BDS are not "views" deserving of tolerance.
