A golden opportunity has presented itself to the forces seeking to destroy Israeli society. This time, it comes courtesy of the global pandemic, which breeds fears, creates potential for mass hysteria, and severely cripples the economy. A pandemic has huge potential and those who wants to undermine the country cannot pass on it,
The riots in Jerusalem have marked great achievements in this regard. Imagine that the government had to set aside dealing with a massive public health and economic emergency to focus on the issue of demonstrations, complete with internal fighting and slogans. About the sanctity of democracy.

The leaders of the "protest," who cling to their goal of overthrowing the government, have found them unlikely allies in the Justice Ministry, the State Attorney's Office, the Supreme Court and the attorney general. These ignoramuses think that the protesters are a squad of cheerleaders.
But nothing could be further than the truth. The protesters are anarchists, trained in the street warfare against the police. They have no consideration for human life.
It is clear that apart from the issue of the virus spreading in mass gatherings, their main goal is to sow confusion and anarchy; to break basic civic trust. In an attempt to bring about the end of public order, the pandemic will be exacerbated further, and the more dire the health situation the better.
A year ago, the riots were fueled by the deadly shooting of Ethiopian Israeli Solomon Teka by an off-duty police officer in a suburb of Haifa. The intention behind the riots, regardless of the need to investigate the incident, was to create a rift between the Ethiopian community and Israeli society. Every military campaign over the last decade has prompted bizarre, repulsive sporadic demonstrations attended by no more than a few hundred people, who had only one goal –demoralization – and they were met with public disdain.
It should be said that even on the Left there are those who say that the zeal fueling the protesters demanding the overthrow of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is disproportionate – the result of incitement that has created psychosis.
The confusing message that some of the public receives is that it is more important to sabotage the prime minister's efforts - and if possible, to get rid of him – than it is to battle the pandemic. And who encourages all this mayhem? The opposition and the judiciary.
These riots cannot be dismissed as they are perhaps the most influential factor in shaping the current political battlefield. Polls show that they have split Right, giving considerable power to Yamina leader Naftali Bennett – the same Bennett who prides himself on preventing corona lockdowns.
As it turns out, the Israeli public – and especially the media – is not as sensitive to human life as we have been led to believe.
On a regular day, the public sees even the slightest scratch on a soldier as a strategic attack. We are waging a fierce struggle to retrieve our missing Israelis and fallen soldiers. But what's 1,000 corona fatalities if that is the price for overthrowing Netanyahu?
With a little help from the political system and the judiciary, maybe chaos and confusion could drive that number up to 2,000. Israelis, after all, are not only sensitive to human life, they are also willing to make sacrifices.
