As if it wasn't enough that Israel has paid a heavy price for turning a blind eye to Hamas gaining power over the past decade and a half, our politicians are now cooperating with Qatar – the terror group's financial backbone – to return the kidnapped Israelis home.

Qatar cannot both embrace Hamas leadership and cater to their every need and be a trusted partner in the negotiations for the return of the over 200 Israelis who were snatched from their homes or the Nova music festival so brutally.
But, unfortunately, Doha is known to have gotten away with moves like this. For years, it has been a generous supporter of terrorism while simultaneously buying up soccer clubs and Western businesses to position itself as a legitimate partner.
When Gilad Schalit was returned from Hamas captivity, Qatar welcomed 15 terrorists who were freed by Israel, and with open arms no less.
Since then, Doha has funded Hamas generously – money that was used to train terrorists to murder, kidnap and rape Israelis.
To make matters worse, Israel blindly – and stupidly – allowed 30 million dollars to be transferred from Qatar to Hamas monthly.
According to lawsuits filed by the families of Israelis murdered in terror attacks, Qatar Charity, Qatar National Bank ו-Masraf Al Rayan Bank have all transfered money to Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
According to one lawsuit, between March and September 2015, at least 28 million dollars were sent from Qatari "charity" organizations to two banks in Ramallah.
Money doesn't line. There is a direct connection between Qatar and the Oct. 7 onslaught on southern Israel. And yet, Jerusalem still views Doha as a legitimate partner in the negotiations.
The mind boggles.
