Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas issued an apology in English for his speech blaming Jews for the Holocaust. The apology was false, given its opening: "If people were offended...." Since if Jews are responsible for the crimes against them, they shouldn't be offended. Therefore, this is an attempt to fix the damage he did to the Palestinian cause in Europe, particularly in Germany, which directly and indirectly funnels millions of euros to the Palestinians, including via Israeli non-profit groups that serve the Palestinian narrative. Anyone familiar with Abbas' academic past and his basic stances knows that he completely identifies with the speech and not with his apology for it.
U.S. President Donald Trump has managed, in a very short time, to put an end to the age of innocence, a time when the west was led into a masquerade ball put on by tyrants, ayatollahs, and the agents of the media in their service. China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and the Palestinian Authority are being forced to unmask themselves and reveal their plans, their motives and their hidden schemes. Any civilized person should thank Trump for removing our doubts and exposing the truth. All of civilization is in danger if lies and political correctness take over and if values are twisted and people lose the basic ability to differentiate between good and evil.
Abbas exposed the plot hidden behind the mask of Palestinian victimhood. The Palestinians are actively participating in the annihilation the Jewish entity, an activity that began during the Nazi regime and progressed to loathsome suicide bombings. In his speech, Abbas admitted that the goal was not eliminating the "Zionist entity," but rather a final solution to the Jewish people. I hope that the few useful innocents who remain on the center-left will realize that Abbas is not a partner for peace – he is an enemy. He doesn't just hold a doctorate in Holocaust denial – he justifies the Holocaust.
The claim that most Palestinians want to live in peace is misleading. As long as Abbas is their leader, he expresses their positions. There are no moderate elements who are organizing to replace him. Abbas will go; his legacy of hatred and terrorism will remain. The conclusion is that we must strengthen the Jewish state by constant building and calling on the Jews of the world to come home.
