The Prime Minister's Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will deliver a statement to the media tomorrow night, after the end of the holiday and Shabbat.
Israel Hayom has learned that the statement, expected to focus on foreign policy, will also address the issue of the hostages.

Negotiations toward a deal are still ongoing, with Israel refusing to end the war and Hamas rejecting Israel's latest proposal.
Meanwhile, in Rome tomorrow, the second round of nuclear talks between the US and Iran is set to take place. This comes amid reports that US President Donald Trump and his administration blocked a planned Israeli strike in Iran next month.
In addition, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Mossad Director David Barnea have flown to Paris to meet with Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, who is involved in the negotiations and the Iranian issue.

Despite the upcoming statement, Netanyahu is still expected to attend a Mimouna celebration at his in-laws' home in Matzor, which may suggest the significance of what he plans to announce.
Responding to reports about the expected statement, Vicki Cohen, mother of kidnapped soldier Nimrod Cohen, posted on social media platform X.
"An announcement like this, right before the holiday, throws us into an emotional whirlwind and indescribable suffering," she wrote. "The only sentence I hope you'll say in your statement is: 'I am ending the war and bringing Nimrod and all the hostages home.' Any other statement will break my heart. I ask that you think during the holiday about what we are going through in this nerve-wracking wait for your announcement."
