Prior to his departure back to Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concluded his "second visit to the United States within two months," saying the visit was a "very warm visit with my friend President Donald Trump. You could observe the great closeness and significant friendship between us, which was expressed through the topics we discussed."
The prime minister elaborated on the issues he discussed with the American president: "First – Iran. We agree that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons. This can be achieved through an agreement, but only if that agreement follows the Libya model, where facilities are entered, destroyed, and all equipment dismantled – under American supervision and implementation – that's acceptable. The second possibility is that this doesn't materialize. They simply protract the talks, and then the option becomes military. Everyone comprehends this. We discussed this thoroughly."

Netanyahu continued, "The second issue we addressed – Gaza. We are determined to eliminate Hamas while simultaneously determined to bring back all our hostages. The president looked at me and told reporters present, 'This man works constantly to release the hostages.' I hope this shatters the falsehood spread regularly that I'm not working for them, that I don't care. I do care, I am actively working on it, and we will succeed in this effort as well."
He added, "We also discussed President Trump's vision, as we are currently in contact with nations discussing the possibility of absorbing numerous Gazans. This is important because ultimately that's what needs to happen."
"The third issue – Turkey. Turkey intends to establish military bases in Syria, presenting a danger to Israel. We oppose this and are working against it. I told President Trump, who is my friend and also Erdogan's friend, 'If we require your assistance – we'll discuss it with you,'" the prime minister added.

In conclusion, he stated, "And the fourth and final issue – tariffs. President Trump requested countries reduce their trade deficit with the United States to zero. I told him, 'That's not particularly difficult for us. We'll accomplish it.' It's the least we can do for the United States and its president who do so much for us."
"This was a very productive visit, a very warm visit, and there are additional matters you'll hear about in the future," he concluded.
