For the third consecutive week, large numbers of Palestinians held protests on Sunday in northern Gaza, demanding an end to the rule of the terrorist organization Hamas.

During the demonstrations, protesters chanted slogans against the terrorist organization and its senior officials, including "The message is clear – Hamas is garbage," "Hamas is a terrorist organization," and "Hamdan is a spy." This latest protest, centered in the Jabaliya area, drew hundreds of Gazans. Similar protests were held last week, calling for an end to the war and for Hamas to leave the Gaza Strip. So far, demonstrators have not called for the release of the Israeli hostages. Hamas-affiliated media outlets have either ignored the protests or framed them as part of broader calls to end the war.
In response to the unrest, Hamas made efforts to suppress the demonstrations and reportedly executed Gazans who took part in the protests. Against this backdrop, a local clan in Gaza City demanded justice against Hamas operatives who tortured one of their sons to death. According to Palestinian reports, one of those operatives was killed in an IDF airstrike in recent days.
