First sign of life received from hostage Avinatan Or, who has been held captive in Gaza for 523 days, as reported Wednesday evening on N12 News. According to the report, intelligence about Or's condition came from debriefings of hostages who were previously held in central Gaza camps. These former captives described severe detention conditions, being deprived of food and given minimal water.

This represents the first indication that Or is alive since footage of his kidnapping alongside Noa Argamani was documented on Oct. 7. Avinatan was abducted from the Nova music festival in Re'im along with his partner Argamani, who was subsequently rescued during an IDF military operation.
