President Donald Trump will deliver his first address to a joint session of Congress with "Renewal of the American Dream" as its central theme, Fox News Digital reported. The speech, scheduled for Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST, will cover the administration's early accomplishments, economic initiatives, border security, and plans for global peace.
White House officials told Fox News Digital that the address will be structured around four main sections, beginning with what they described as Trump's achievements during his first month back in office. The president will highlight both domestic and international accomplishments since his January inauguration.
The president will also devote significant attention to economic issues, specifically addressing "the economic mess created by the Biden administration" and outlining steps his administration has taken to combat inflation. Trump is expected to emphasize the more than $1.7 trillion in investments secured to bring manufacturing back to the US.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Digital that the joint address "will be must-see TV" and characterized Trump's first month as more productive than "any president in four years." She added that the president will present "his bold, ambitious and commonsense vision for the future."

The speech will also include a renewed call for Congress to approve additional funding for border security, specifically targeting deportations and continued construction of the border wall along the southern border of the US.
On international matters, Trump will outline his strategy for "peace around the world," including specific plans to end the war in Ukraine, Fox News Digital learned from White House officials. The president will also address ongoing efforts to secure the release of all hostages from Gaza amid the Israel-Hamas conflict.
While the address follows the format of a State of the Union speech, it is not officially designated as such since Trump has not yet completed a full year in office. However, the purpose remains the same – to showcase the administration's achievements and policy priorities.
The joint session will see members from both chambers of Congress gathered to hear the president's remarks, providing Trump with his first opportunity since returning to office to address the entire legislative branch collectively. In a message posted to his Truth Social account on Monday, Trump previewed the address, writing: "Tomorrow night will be big. I will tell it like it is!"
White House officials emphasized to Fox News Digital that a major focus of the address will be investments in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, alongside increased energy production and private sector growth.
