For the first time in eight months, a sign of life has been received from Guy Gilboa-Dalal, according to one of the hostages freed today (Saturday) as part of the ongoing hostage release deal.
Guy, 22, is the brother of Gal (29) and Gaya (16). He was kidnapped from the Nova festival in Re'im on October 7. His parents, Ilan and Merav, have been tirelessly fighting for his return.
His father, Ilan Gilboa, told Kan Reshet Bet in an interview: "We received a sign of life from Guy through one of the survivors who has just returned. He was with Guy for a long time. This is the first indication that he is alive in the past eight months. It gives us great encouragement."
Earlier today, Hamas released Omer Wenkert, Omer Shem Tov, and Eliya Cohen. All three had been held captive for 505 days after being abducted from the Nova festival.
