4:43 p.m. (9:43 a.m. ET): An official US source told Reuters that the president will sign a presidential order today that will implement "maximum economic pressure" on Iran, including sanctions and enforcement against those who don't comply with them to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The US administration is pressuring Israel not to attack Iran and offered the economic pressure route as a way to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capabilities.
4:21 p.m. (9:21 a.m. ET): Senior Trump administration official said in a press briefing that "Trump and Netanyahu will discuss preserving the ceasefire in Gaza and he is committed to returning all hostages and ensuring that Hamas will not continue to control Gaza. The President sees the Gaza Strip as a disaster zone and it is inhumane to force people to live in an uninhabitable area."
