After 482 in brutal captivity, Arbel Yehud has returned home to Israel.
in their first public statement, Yehud's family expressed overwhelming emotion following her release: "Our life's mission, to bring Arbel back to us, has succeeded, and we are flooded with emotions. Ahead of us lies a long journey of family recovery. We are a bereaved family, grieving and missing our beloved Dolev."

Gal Hirsch, Israel's Coordinator for Hostages and Missing Persons, addressed the release of Gadi Moses, Arbel Yehud, Agam Berger, and five Thai citizens, stating: "We deeply regret the long time that has passed until their release." He continued, "These are moments of joy, but they come hand in hand with concern and vigilance, because the mission remains to bring everyone home. I turn to our hostages and say: we are working tirelessly to secure your freedom."
Hirsch also emphasized the commitment to assisting the released Thai hostages: "Today, five Thai civilians are being freed. We will support their reintegration and rehabilitation with the same dedication and sensitivity as we do for our own citizens."
