The Israeli Defense Forces continues its methodical clearing operations across southern Lebanon, with military assessments indicating the IDF will maintain its current positions beyond this Sunday's proposed withdrawal date.
Paratroopers operating in the Saluki region this past week uncovered multiple sophisticated underground Hezbollah facilities designed as personnel quarters. Engineering forces from the brigade, working alongside the Combat Engineering Corps' special operations unit, thoroughly investigated and subsequently destroyed these underground networks.

The operation yielded additional discoveries, including a weapons stockpile concealed within a mosque, a weapons-laden vehicle, and hundreds of mortar shells, explosive devices, rockets, firearms, and other Hezbollah military equipment.

In a separate operation, infantry forces located trucks equipped with heavy rocket launching systems, alongside multiple weapons storage facilities containing substantial quantities of rockets, man-portable missiles, launching systems, mortar shells, explosive devices, and military equipment. Forces seized all weaponry and destroyed the storage facilities.
