After speaking with their mothers, Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher, and Emily Damari, the three Israeli women released on Sunday evening, arrived at the Re'im military base, where they met their families for the first time since their abduction.
Cruelly, each of the released hostages received a "souvenir" bag from the terrorist organization, which included a photo of themselves in captivity, a certificate of recognition, and a map of "Palestine".

At 5:07 p.m., the hostages were first seen stepping out of a Red Cross vehicle and walking unaided in the heart of Gaza. By 5:53 p.m., confirmation was received that the three had crossed into Israeli territory. The IDF released a video showing the hostages' mothers watching the moment of their release. Friends of the three also gathered, witnessing the footage for the first time and celebrating with joy.
Romi Gonen's family told Israel Hayom, "She's now meeting with her mother, Merav. She looks well and is incredible. We will continue to provide updates."
