Three people were killed Monday in a series of shooting attacks near al-Funduq, between the towns of Karnei Shomron and Kedumim. Emergency services confirmed two women in their 60s and a man in his 40s were among the deceased. The victims were found in separate vehicles approximately 492 feet apart.
Security forces launched an extensive search operation after attackers opened fire on an Israeli bus and civilian vehicles near a local shopping complex. A helicopter unit and special forces have joined the manhunt.

Seven others were wounded in the attack, including the 63-year-old bus driver who remains in serious condition. A woman in her 60s sustained moderate injuries, while five others received minor wounds. All victims were transported to nearby medical facilities.

First responder Avichai Ben Zruya reported finding multiple casualties across several locations. "We discovered two women, both around 60, unresponsive in their vehicle with gunshot wounds. Another victim, an unconscious male driver, was found in a separate vehicle. Despite immediate medical intervention, their injuries proved fatal."

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a Kedumim resident, called for an urgent Diplomatic-Security Cabinet meeting, linking the attack to broader regional tensions. Local council head Yossi Dagan, speaking from the scene, emphasized the community's resilience in the face of violence.
