Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey made an unexpected visit to Israel on Friday, touring communities near Gaza that were devastated during Hamas' deadly Oct. 7. 2023, attacks, according to Israeli media. Spacey was accompanied by British author and journalist Douglas Murray during his tour of southern Israel, where he expressed support for local communities affected by the ongoing war.
On Sunday, Spacey and Murray visited Kibbutz Kfar Aza, which was among the most severely affected communities in southern Israel. The kibbutz was attacked by more than 70 Hamas terrorists, resulting in dozens of deaths and 19 people taken hostage.

During his visit, Spacey visited wounded Israeli soldiers at Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel HaShomer, hearing their stories of courage and expressing his support for their service, accompanied by his close friend Owen Lowenstein.
This marks Spacey's second visit to Israel, with his visit scheduled to end Monday evening. He previously made a private trip to Tel Aviv in 2019, where he was seen dining at various restaurants and cafes.
While Spacey was acquitted of sexual assault charges, he currently faces a civil lawsuit in the UK regarding an alleged 2008 assault at his London residence.
