Former President Donald Trump has stated he would not pursue another presidential run if he loses the upcoming November election. In an interview with Sinclair Broadcast Group's "Full Measure" host Sharyl Attkisson, Trump firmly responded, "No, I don't. No, I don't," when questioned about the possibility of a future campaign. "I don't see that at all. I think that, hopefully, we're going to be successful," he added.
In a livestream conversation with tech entrepreneur Elon Musk in August, Trump reflected on his decision to run again: "I didn't need this. I had a very nice life. I didn't need to go through court systems and go through all the other stuff and run at the same time." He added, "But if I had to do it over again, I would have done it over again, because this is so much more important than me or my life."

Discussing his recent close call with a potential shooter at his Florida golf course, Trump reiterated his belief that "only consequential" presidents face such dangers. He praised his Secret Service protection and expressed determination to continue his work without fear. "I can't be scared, because if you're scared, you can't do your job, so I just can't be I have, thus far, had somebody protecting me," he stated.
