Beloved Israeli singer Ishay Ribo performed for the second time in New York City's Madison Square Garden on Sunday, being the first-ever Israeli artist to perform at the renowned venue. This iconic arena, which has hosted megastars like Taylor Swift, became the stage for a deeply emotional moment. What made Ribo's show particularly poignant was the massive crowd's gesture toward the Israeli hostages still held in Gaza and their families – calling out in unison to "Bring them home."
Thank you NY 🎗️🩷

Almost 15,000 people attended Ribo's show last night, during which he was joined by Israeli singers Idan Reichel and Evyatar Banai. The audience included Jews from across the religious spectrum, with people wrapped in Israeli flags seen in the crowd. According to Ribo's Instagram account, as he was set to play the guitar for another song, the crowd started powerfully shouting "Bring them home" calling for the hostages' release in a moment moving to tears.
101 hostages are currently held in Gaza since the horrific events of Oct. 7, in which Hamas infiltrated Israel killing 1,200 people, most of them civilians. During this turbulent time for the Israeli public, and with antisemitism on the rise across the US, this moment of unity in the heart of Manhattan marks a unique beacon of hope.
