The Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar, which is linked to Hezbollah, reportes that despite the 12 days that have passed since the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, Iranian officials are still speaking of a decisive and inevitable response against Israel.

However, the report also noted that there are speculations Iran is reconsidering launching a large-scale, multi-front attack on Israel to avoid civilian casualties and a broader regional war.
In addition, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Jumhuriya reports that Hezbollah has recently evacuated all its known command centers in the southern Dahiya district of Beirut, including the terrorist organization's political offices.
According to the report, the evacuation involved the removal of computers and other equipment. The newspaper suggested that this is a signal of an impending retaliatory action and that Hezbollah's leadership is preparing for the worst, in the event of an Israeli response.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz sent a stern message to Iran, warning that the Islamic Republic will be held accountable for any attack against Israel.
"We call on Iran and its allies to refrain from attacks that would further escalate regional tensions and jeopardise the opportunity to agree a ceasefire and the release of hostages," read the joint statement.
