An Israeli man in his 30s was killed from a Hezbollah rocket barrage in Kibbutz HaGoshrim, in the Galilee Panhandle in northen Israell.
The police are currently handling several sites in the Galilee Panhandle where other rockets have has fallen. The barrage, of around ten rockets, was mostly intercepted.
The terrorist organization Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for the launches, stating that they were in response to an Israeli attack in the Nabatiyeh area.
Only recently, 150 of the 1,400 kibbutz residents decided that it was safe to return. Many had planned to come back after the summer camps. However, following the recent barrages, some may reconsider their return.
Al-Mayadeen, an Iran-aligned network, reported a barrage of heavy rockets launched from southern Lebanon towards Israel. Al-Hadath, a Saudi network, reported a barrage of ten rockets and interceptions over Kiryat Shmona.
This barrage occures just days after the deadly Hezbollah attack on a football field in Majdal Shams, that claimed the lives of 12 children and teenagers.
