Former hostage Noa Argamani, who was rescued during Operation Arnon has decided to accompany Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his US trip to Washington. During his meeting with the families of the hostages, Argamani shared one of the most difficult aspects of her captivity – hearing the Prime Minister on the radio saying the war would be long. "That was a breaking point," she said. According to sources present at the meeting, as reported by Barak Ravid for Walla News, these words broke Argamani's spirit, leading her to lose hope of surviving captivity and reuniting with her mother.

She also spoke about the hostages, saying "They are suffering and dying there, and we need to bring them back as quickly as possible. I don't want to get into a political debate, but I've seen death up close. Yossi Sharabi and Itay Svirsky were killed right next to me."
Netanyahu is expected to address the US Congress on July 24, accompanied by 12 family members of hostages held in Gaza since Oct. 7, against the backdrop of ongoing negotiations for a ceasefire and hostage deal in recent days.
