Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has strongly criticized the International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor's intention to seek arrest warrants for him and other Israeli leaders. Speaking with ABC News He termed the move "absurd" and said it casts a "terrible stain" on the court. "We are supplying now nearly half of the water of Gaza. We supplied only 7% before the war. This is completely opposite of what he's saying. He's saying we're starving people?" Netanyahu stated during an interview on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday.
"We have supplied half million tons of food and medicine with 20,000 trucks. This guy is out to demonize Israel. He's doing a hit job," he added, referring to the ICC prosecutor.
On Monday, ICC Prosecutor Karim A.A. Khan announced that he would file applications for arrest warrants against Hamas and Israeli leaders, including Netanyahu. Khan alleged that they "bear criminal responsibility" for "war crimes and crimes against humanity" in Gaza.

The prosecutor stated that he would seek warrants for Netanyahu and Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant. He outlined a list of allegations against them, such as starvation of civilians, willfully causing great suffering, and other "inhumane acts." But the accusations against Israel were flawed, mainly because they ignored the fact that Hamas launched the hostilities and that Israel was no longer an occupying power in Gaza when the war started.
