A Border Police officer was moderately injured Tuesday in a stabbing attack in the Old City of Jerusalem, the police said.
The officer, in his 30s, was stabbed in his upper body.

The terrorist was eliminated. The attacker was apparently a tourist from Turkey.
The attack took place on Sultan Suleiman St. near Herod's Gate, which police heavily patrolled following the incident.
Paramedics who were the first to arrive at the scene said they provided the victim, who was conscious at the time of their arrival, with initial medical attention, after which he was hospitalized.
