Israel's military said it was sounding sirens in locations throughout the country early on Sunday and a Reuters witness in Jerusalem heard explosions from what local TV showed were aerial interceptions of drones launched by Iran.
Israel's Magen David Adom ambulance service said early on Sunday that it had received no word of any casualties from Iranian drones launched at the country, many of which local media described as having been intercepted.

Interceptions were observed overnight (between Saturday and Sunday) in widespread areas across the north, south, Dead Sea region, Jerusalem, Eilat, and Samaria. This came minutes after the Israeli military spokesman confirmed that the Iranians had launched missiles among other munitions.
At around 1:55 a.m., the Magen David Adom ambulance service stated that following the sirens that sounded in many areas in the country in recent minutes: At this time, no calls about casualties have been received, except for cases of anxiety and some people injured on their way to sheltered areas.

In light of the assessment of the targets that the Iranian ballistic missiles are aimed at in tonight's attack (between Saturday and Sunday), the Israeli military has decided to instruct residents of northern Golan Heights, Nevtim area, Dimona, Eilat and Beer Sheva (east) to remain near protective shelters.
