Held at the Shalva National Center and co-hosted by the Jerusalem Municipality and the World Zionist Organization, the congress saw over 120 women leaders, including prominent figures like former MKs Shuli Mualem and Aliza Lavie, and former Deputy Mayor Mehereta Baruch-Ron.
The event aimed to unify leadership and empower women in Israeli society, sparked by the controversies surrounding Israel's judicial reform laws. Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion emphasized the empowerment of women's voices, especially highlighting the plight of nineteen women held by Hamas. Momentum led discussions on mutual responsibility between Israel and Diaspora Jewry, concluding with a call for more engagement and shared experiences to foster unity.
The congress underscored the need for gender equality in decision-making, leadership, and recognition of female heroism, echoing the sentiment that diverse women can achieve significant change when united.
