Leading up to Ramadan, there was a new wave of cyberattacks , involving both existing and new threat actors. These attacks draw parallels to the cyber aggressions experienced by Ukraine, underscoring the importance of understanding these methods as they may soon spread globally. Radware's analysis revealed a diverse group of attackers, ranging from professional groups like Anonymous Sudan and Moroccan Black Cyber Army, to state-sponsored actors and amateurs.
The attacks feature advanced vectors such as Web DDoS Tsunami attacks, DNS attacks, and burst attacks, targeting government, financial, and communication infrastructures. The intensity of these attacks has escalated, with some reaching up to 100 gigabits per second, underscoring the evolving and sophisticated nature of cyber threats facing Israel and potentially other nations.
