Launched in early 2024, travelers currently have the opportunity to listen to audio recordings of YUTorah,
which debuted as an online platform of Torah study over 20 years ago.
The broadcasts will include discussions on Jewish law, Jewish history, Jewish prayer, dating and marriage, parenting and weekly Torah portion; and feature a wide range of notable YU-affiliated speakers.
"This is a great opportunity to broaden YU's reach, and spread our values across the globe," said Rabbi Ari Rockoff, Yeshiva University's David Mitzner Community Dean for Values and Leadership, who co-founded the YUTorah website in 2003. "With our EL AL partnership, we are perpetuating and fulfilling the mission of YU Torah and Yeshiva University, connecting people with Torah."
YUTorah was the first major Torah online platform and has continued to provide the largest range and scale of Torah offerings in the world. Since launching in 2003, YUTorah has recorded 350,000 classes and counting, featured 3,500 speakers and is visited by 2.5 million learners annually.
