The IDF said Monday it would launch an investigation into a protest by relieved reservists against downgrading the war in the Gaza Strip as hostages remain held by Hamas and the terror group is not yet defeated.

After three months of fighting in the Gaza Strip, the fighters arrived at the Tzeelim base in the south to return their military equipment.
However, in an apparent call on the government to take a harsher approach to the war, they returned their armored vehicles with a sign that read "We too were released without resolution."
"In recent hours pictures have emerged of reserve soldiers protesting during active duty and making use of IDF vehicles to do so," the military said in a statement, saying that the acts were in volating of commands and had no place in the army.
Behind the initiative stands the Mate Bereshit group that includes many IDF reservists, led by Uria Loberbom.
"We stop letting people lie to us and start telling the truth – it wasn't for nothing that we thourhg in Gaza for three months and they are releasing us without resolution," Loberbom said.
