In Khan Younis, fighters of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Maglan special forces unit raided several terrorist targets, including military headquarters. Terrorists are said to have been eliminated by close range fire, with many weapons located during the raid.
Additionally, Yiftah Brigade is stated to be operating in central Gaza. During one of the raids, said the IDF, the brigade identified terrorists firing at Israeli troops and directed Air Force combat helicopter to kill the cell.

IDF announces death of 10 soldiers, raising toll of Gaza ground operation to 208
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday the names of 10 fallen soldiers, raising the death toll of the Gaza ground operation to 208. A reservist was also wounded in serious condition from the same battle in the southern Strip. The Israeli military's spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, scheduled a morning brief in which he broke the news of the large-casualty incident.
A source told i24NEWS that soldiers were in a building when it exploded and the incident was now over, with no more Israeli soldiers trapped inside and all those who needed treatment received it.
Hagari said terrorists had fired a rocket-propelled grenade at a tank. At the same time an explosion occurred in a two-storey building, triggering the collapse of the building onto the Israeli soldiers.
"We are still studying and investigating the details of the event and the reasons for the explosion," he told an early morning press briefing.
According to Hagari, a RPG missile was fired at the building, and two explosions occurred, and the structures likely exploded due to mines in the area. The situation was still being investigated.

IDF conducts aerial assassinations of armed squads in the Gaza Strip
In an ongoing effort to counter terrorist activities, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported significant operations in the Gaza Strip on Monday, involving aerial assassinations and ground combat.
The IDF's "Yiftah" brigade combat team engaged in a critical operation in the center of the Gaza Strip, successfully neutralizing a terrorist squad that had approached their forces. The confrontation escalated when several terrorists attempted to ambush IDF fighters. Coordinated efforts between the ground forces and the Air Force led to the successful elimination of these threats.
Further north, the IDF's 5th Brigade Combat Team encountered an armed terrorist squad. The initial engagement resulted in the death of one terrorist, followed by a decisive airstrike directed by the fighters that killed the remaining terrorists and destroyed a military structure used by the squad.
