IDF fighter jets struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure and military structures in the area of Ramyeh in southern Lebanon, the Israeli military confirmed, following reports from the area.

"Hezbollah is operating from behind the civilian population in Ramyeh, which it uses as a center for its terrorist activity and attacks against Israelis," the IDF said in a statement.

In addition, the IDF confirmed that anti-tank missiles were fired from Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee last night, and Hezbollah observation posts in the areas of Amra and Khiam were targeted as one of the sources of fire.

"Hezbollah's ongoing terrorist activity and attacks against Israel violate UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The IDF will continue to defend its borders from any threat," the statement concluded.

IDF arrests 5 wanted persons in West Bank, confirms drone strike on terrorists

Israeli security forces conducted a counter-terror raid in the West Bank's Nur al-Shams refugee camp, near Tulkarm, uncovering and destroying explosives under and on the sides of the roads, as well arresting five wanted men.

Terrorists shot and threw explosives at the Israeli security forces, who first responded with live fire. An IDF drone then hit the targets, according to the statement several of the gunmen were wounded.

The statement concluded that more than 2,550 wanted persons have been arrested throughout the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, about 1,300 of whom are affiliated with Hamas.
