"I condemn the killing of Yaniv Zohar. I call upon the authorities to undertake a full investigation to identify and bring the perpetrators to justice. Impunity for crimes against journalists must not be tolerated," UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay said.

Zohar was murdered along with his wife and two daughters when Hamas terrorists infiltrated Kibbutz Nahal Oz, where the family lived. His son was saved because he went out for a morning run and when the attack began, he took shelter in another house on the kibbutz, thus his life was saved.
