The authorities were reportedly investigating the vehicle as part of an explosion at Hayarkon Park, earlier on Friday, according to media reports, and whether the explosives are of Iranian origin.
There were no casualties in either incident, and authorities are investigating whether the two are connected. The Shin Bet internal security agency was reportedly also involved in the investigation, and suspects the three arrested are terrorists.
The Israeli security forces are on heightened alert for Rosh Hashanah, with 5,000 police officers, security forces and volunteers deployed all over the country.
