Among the displays is a presentation featuring a digital recreation of the renowned relief panel found at the Gate of Titus in Rome. The intricately crafted artwork depicts victorious Roman soldiers adorned with laurel wreaths, leading Jewish captives, and plunder taken from the Temple in Jerusalem to Rome in 71 CE.
The restoration process of the relief relied upon the utilization of high-resolution 3D scans, conducted by Yeshiva University. Notably, the lamp relief depicted in the artwork served as a model for the lamp featured on the national emblem of the State of Israel.
Its construction took place approximately twelve years after the Roman victory over the Jews in the Great Revolt, which culminated in 70 CE.
