Initially treated as an accident, the police now suspect that the death was intentional, as was first reported by Israel Hayom.
Family members said that Alfalo had a disagreement with a friend shortly before his death, and suspected that he was behind the alleged murder.
"The same guy named A saw the driver approaching at high speed and pushed my brother onto the road," Alfalo's sister, Eden, said. "Only after some time were we able to understand what had happened. It was exactly as I thought – Shalev was pushed onto the road.
"My brother was murdered, and finally the police say so too. We used to come to the station every day. My brother's soul could not rest until the truth came to light."
She remembered him as someone "who would always help people."
