Adam VaAdama school network was awarded the Yigal Alon award for pioneering work in the fields of industry, agriculture, medicine, research, and high-tech.

"Since 2015, the network has established four boarding schools in which we expand the world of education into the fields, orchards, and greenhouses of Israel. Educating through nature, research, and experimental work, to sow the seed of curiosity and innovation amongst our studentsl; we believe that our schools have a responsibility to be productive and connected to the Israeli economy – the youth must contribute to it and lead it," the network said in a statement. .
Amit Meir, the founder of Adam VaAdama, came up on stage to receive the award at the award event, saying: "How great this day is.There are 100 students and in the country a total of 250 students who work this land and create a new generation, pioneers that live a wonderful life. The new generation creates unity, right wing or left wing, boys and girls they work and help the farmers. They create a future and I think it's really touching that we got to win this prize, and I hope we will be worthy of it. Thanks a lot, to everybody."
