Israeli forces were conducting a military operation in Nablus on Wednesday morning, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit said in a statement.

Palestinian media reported heavy clashes in the area and health officials said over two dozen people were injured and four killed, including 2 terrorists.

The troops reportedly clashed with members of the Lion's Den terror organization.
The operation is being conducted in the Old City of Nablus, with Israeli media outlets saying that the IDF has surrounded a building in which two terrorists – Hussam Aslim and Mohammed Aljanidi – are said to be located, attempting to force them out.

Palestinian media too said that one of the buildings in the city has been surrounded and that explosions were heard and smoke rose from the structure.
Aslim published a recording on social media in which he said that he and Aljanidi would not surrender, but rather chose the path of "martyrdom."
