Beyadenu – Returning to the Temple said the number constituted a 16% increase compared to the same time last year, with an average 140 Jewish visitors ascending the holy site daily.

On Thursday, in particular, a group of 50 Israelis went up to mark the completion of Beyadenu's tour guide course of the Temple Mount and were presented with their certificates.

According to data,  26 pre-military training groups have visited the site so far, or 960 students, who make up 5% of the overall visitors. Seventy-seven brides and grooms also ascended the mountain on their wedding day and 29 children had their bar and bat mitzvahs celebrations there, which too were organized by Beyadenu.

The most popular day of the year among Jewish visitors continues to be the first day of the holiday of Sukkot, with 1,388 having visited it during the most recent celebration.

CEO of Beyadenu Tom Ninasi said, "The number of Jewish visitors to the Temple Mount has increased this year again, despite the restrictions and difficulties on our activities and the visitors to the Temple Mount. We will continue to work to correct the situation and bring tens of thousands of visitors to the site."

The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism and was the location of Firt and Second temples. Currently, Jews are prohibited from praying vocally at the site.
