A dog in England apparently set a house ablaze after accidentally turning a hairdryer on, according to the fire brigade in the town of Hockley, Essex.

According to the rescue service, the owner had returned home on Christmas Eve and was surprised to see her residence with smoke.
The firefighters managed to take control of the flames before major damage could be inflicted, neither the woman nor the dog was hurt.
According to the fire brigade, the dog was waiting outside the door, potentially saving his life.
