As part of Panama Day, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) will be signed between the Export and Investment Promotion Authority of Panama (PROPANAMA), and the Israel Export Institute to promote trade relations between the countries, two years after a free trade agreement was signed.

"Exciting News regarding the commercial and economic ties between Israel and Panama: On December 5, 2022, at the Dan Panorama Hotel in Tel Aviv, a "Panama Day" will be held to strengthen the economic and commercial ties between the countries," a press release said.
According to the statement, the memorandum of understanding (MOU) will be signed with the Israel Export Institute to promote trade between the countries. "The memorandum of understanding is another strengthening step to the free trade agreement signed between Israel and Panama in January 2020. The agreement grants each party preferential access to the export of products to the other party's market and enables a favorable environment for trade and investment between the two countries, promoting economic development and increasing economic cooperation."
The entrepreneur and founder of "CYBERTECH", Amir Rapaport, is expected to announce the CYBERTECH LATIN AMERICA conference, which will be held in Panama in May.
