Three terrorists were neutralized overnight Friday near Nablus after firing at Israeli soldiers stationed in the area from a passing car just hours after the IDF announced it was easing restrictions on the West Bank city following a crackdown on the Lion's Den terror group.

The IDF said in a statement that the soldiers, who were stationed in the town of Huwara, returned fire at two "suspect" vehicles. Two terrorists were killed and one injured.
No Israeli casualties were reported, and forces continued to scan the area in search of other suspects.
Earlier in the week, the IDF conducted a raid on the Lion's Den headquarters, killing its leader Wadie Houh and destroying its explosives lab. Earlier yet, senior Lion's Den member Tamer Kilani was killed in a motorcycle explosion attributed to the Shin Bet security agency.
