Opposition Leader Benjamin Netanyahu called on the ultra-Orthodox public Sunday morning to make sure to vote in the upcoming election, warning that indifference might prevent the right-wing camp from returning to power and lead to Yair Lapid to becoming prime minister of a permanent government.

"I urge the Haredi public to go out and vote, there is complacency," he said in an interview with ultra-Orthodox media. "The Torah world is in danger, I can't believe that people are considering staying at home [and not voting]. The media is trying to put everyone to sleep, including the ultra-Orthodox, but we have to wake up and leave our homes because those who stay at home are actually voting for Lapid."
Earlier, Israel Hayom reported that while the political system is focused on encouraging votes from the Arab sector, in the case of the right-wing camp, and Likud in particular, their weakness lies precisely with the ultra-Orthodox.
The lack of motivation stems from a number of reasons, including the lack of central leadership and a desire for younger representatives.
