Nineteen-year-old Salah Bariqi suffered a mortal wound in the neck. Images circulated on social media showed his body wrapped in the flag of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, although it is unclear whether he was a member of the terror group.
Reports said Bariqi had previously shaved his head to look like fugitive terrorist Uday Tamimi, who killed Stg. Noa Lazar at a Jerusalem checkpoint almost two weeks ago, to confuse the forces that were looking for him.
Though Israeli security forces have not officially closed off Shuafat refugee camp, our correspondent @P_Klochendler reports only a single ambulance has been let through the checkpoint, as Palestinians expect a 5-hour wait to cross into Israel pic.twitter.com/qBYJxkbklI

Three others were injured in the clashes and one arrested, according to Palestinian reports.
Tensions have deepened since the Israeli military launched Operation Breakwater, an extensive counter-terrorism campaign in Judea and Samaria in response to a series of terror attacks by Palestinians in Israel earlier in the year, in which 19 Israelis were killed.
Jenin has seen a particular increase in IDF raids as being an Islamic stronghold it has been a focal point of terrorist activity against Israel in recent months.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military.
