These are Idit Silman and Amichai Chikli, former Yamina members whose defection was instrumental to bringing down the Bennett-Lapid government, as well as former deputy head of the Police Investigations Department Moshe Saada, Israeli Ethiopian writer Tzaga Malko and lawyer Yossi Fuchs.
Netanyahu gave Silman and Chikli the 14th and 16th spot, while Saada, Malko and Fuchs got the 28th, 37th, and 43rd places respectively.
Party registration for the parliamentary elections kicked off on Wednesday morning.
Factions running for the 25th Knesset must submit their candidate lists to the Central Elections Committee by 10 p.m. Parties that meet the deadline will be allowed up until midnight to finalize their registration and to choose a ballot symbol (each party is assigned a symbol of up to three Hebrew letters).
A total of 55 parties have requested registration forms, including a host of smaller parties.
Alliances formed so far include Ayelet Shaked's Zionist Spirit (formerly Yamina) and Habayit Hayedui, the Religious Zionist Party teaming up with Otzma Yehudit, and Benny Gantz's and Gideon Sa'ar's State. The three factions currently within the Joint Arab List agreed to run together again on Wednesday.
An Israeli election poll published Tuesday night showed that Netanyahu and Likud party are just one seat short of being able to form a coalition without relying on any outside party, which is also what a recent Israel Hayom survey predicted.
