Two Israelis were killed Wednesday, in a car accident in Ramsgate, a seaside town in the Thanet district of east Kent, England.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed that it has received information on the incident from local authorities, saying the Israeli Embassy in London was "ensuring the family's needs were being met during this difficult time."
According to available details, the two were killed when a vehicle veered off the road and hit a group of pedestrians. Several others were wounded. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
The Foreign Ministry added that it was assisting the families with the necessary arrangements to bring the bodies back to Israel.
