Adi Barak took home the bronze medal in the youth male (under 18) bouldering competition on Friday, becoming the first Israeli to reach the podium in the event.
The gold went to Tim Korosec of Slovenia and the silver went to Rusev Nikolay of Bulgaria.
Barak, 16, hails from the northern Israeli community of Shimshit, near Nazareth.
On Saturday, Oren Prihed, 17, of Karmei Yosef, took home the silver in the juniors male (under 20) bouldering event.

Akhtar Dayan of Great Britain took home the gold in the event.
The results bode well for the future of Israeli bouldering, which made its Olympic debut in Tokyo last summer and will also feature at the Olympic Games in Paris in less than two years.
