IDF forces foiled a terrorist attack at a Nablus checkpoint Thursday and neutralized the attacker who shot at the soldier at the site.

A group of five armed terrorists arrived at the Huwara checkpoint, one of several located at the entrance to Nablus, when one of them exited the vehicle and began shooting at the military checkpoint. Forces retaliated and neutralized the attacker.
He was taken to a hospital to receive care, and will later be investigated by security forces. The IDF continued to scan the area. No Israeli casualties were reported.
