A 22-year-old Israeli traveling in Colombia with friends died overnight between Sunday and Monday from a severe allergic reaction after he was exposed to dairy products in a café in Bogota last week.

The man was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition, but the medical staff were unable to stabilize him and the man died overnight between Sunday and Monday.
Since the incident, the Israeli Consulate in Bogota has been in close touch with the man's family and traveling companions.
